Second-hand letting

Below is what the association’s statutes say about second-hand letting. The text is a rendering of § 6 of the statutes.

Under § 6 of the statutes, a member of the association has an unrestricted right to let their apartment in the second hand for an indefinite period.

A fee for second-hand occupancy may be charged by decision of the board. For one apartment the fee may amount to at most 10 per cent of the applicable price base amount per year under Chapter 2, sections 6 and 7 of the Swedish Social Insurance Code (2010:110).

If an apartment is let for part of a year, the highest permitted fee is calculated according to the number of months the apartment is let. Letting for part of a month counts as a whole month.
